The opportunity to play sled hockey allows athletes with mobility limitations to experience or, in some cases, re-experience the joys and benefits of a team sport.

We need athletes of ALL abilities. We are also looking for athletes who want an alternative therapy/exercise, to develop increased self-confidence, or just to have FUN!

Even if you are not sure you can give it a try. If you like it, we'll provide you with a properly fitted sled. CSSHA is keeping the program fees very low. Players are only required to purchase an annual $47 USA Hockey membership, which covers insurance.

Required player equipment:

Hockey approved helmet with cage or full shield *
Internal mouth guard (e.g. Shock Doctor) strapped to cage or shield (exceptions can be made per physical limitations)
Neck guard *
Shoulder pads *
Elbow pads *
Hockey gloves *(exceptions can be made per physical limitations)
Shin guards *
Heavy duty boots or hockey skate boots with blades removed

Forms to be completed at time of registration. You must complete 1 or 2 AND you must fill 3:

1. First Year Players Who Have A Disability

In place of USA Hockey Registration, fill out the following and bring to first practice. This will allow for free USA Hockey registration:

You must pay for USA Hockey registration. Bring a printed copy of your USA Hockey confirmation, cost $47 for 18 and younger, $30 adults:
